Wisdom From The Mouth Of Nathan
Tuesday, April 07, 2009
Upon being stuck in the corner, Nathan informed me, "I wish this place was made in a big circle, a big old circle, then there wouldn't be any dang corners to put me in."
Momma, you should just not wear a shirt....why Nathan?? so then I could see your boobies, aren't you a little big for boobies, Nathan? Well, I could pretend I'm a baby.....I like boobies....

Getting Back In The Swing of Things....
Monday, October 13, 2008
Hi y'all...does anyone even come and read this sorrier than hell blog anymore? I am going to try my best to begin blogging again..and believe me...I have lots to share!! So, once I again I am going to give you all a look into the train wreck that I call life....plus...I love letting the world get "all up in my bidness..." To kick things off I guess this is a good enough post as any~ The hubster (Joey) and youngest son (Nathan, 4) were taking a shower, (we do this sometimes it's a whole easier to shampoo his hair)
But, on to the funny ha ha part.
Whilst in the shower the Natester noticed....well...Joey's ummm....well...his nuts....
He asked his daddy what they were and Joey, thinking quickly replies "eggs."
Nathan promptly inspected his "eggs" and announced...
"I don't have eggs daddy, I think they hatch dud"
(yep...meant to spell it that way...because Nathan said it that way."

Myspace Happy Birthday Comments & Graphics

It is so hard to believe that it was four years ago today that I gave birth to the Natester. All 6 pounds and 6 ounces of him. He was so tiny.....and...ummm....he's still little but he is a handful and a half. You've read the posts....it's never a dull moment. Some moms would be so glad that their little hellion was growing up, but this is my BABY and I am, to put it mildly, sad. My last baby is already four. What will I do when he goes to school? I'm going to need therapy, I tell ya, well in addition to the therapy I already need!

Hmmm.....I May Be Wrong, But I Think The Wrong Drug Rep Visited Nathan's Doctor....
Friday, September 28, 2007

We took the Natester to the doctor on Monday to ease a few concerns we had about his growth. Now, I know you don't compare one kid to another and all that, but, he is really small for his age. Everything was okay though, he's just a short little feller!! Although, I am not too sure they understood exactly what kind of growing we were referring too. LOLOLOL

They Were Mesmerized!!
Friday, August 24, 2007
Who you ask? Why Noni and Nathan. I got another little perk in the mail the other day. Two copies of a game for the Nintendo DS (which they also sent along by the way, 2 of them) that hasn't even been released yet. Needless to say, I had 2 very happy campers in my house. They love the games and activities on it. What I love is that Nathan is able to play with it also. A lot of times games may say they are for 3-6 year olds, then you get them out and try to play them and you have trouble, how's your child supposed to do it. Entitled Interactive DS Storybook Series 1, the disk is jam packed with all sorts of fun stuff for kids to do and play and learn!! Let's see, the four stories included are: The Three Little Pigs, The Snow Queen, The Bat & Kaguyahime. Color me psychic but after watching the last one, I am positive it's a Japanese fairy tale. Your child can paint, draw, color and play the harp. The music one is awesome it records your music for playback. The only drawback is the harp playing and the Japanese woman who paints the notes reminded of Japan, which reminded me of food, and I started craving sushi! This is definitely a fun, entertaining and educational game here. It will take a long time for them to tire of playing this. This game will be released the latter part of September, so keep your eyes pealed. It would be the perfect birthday or holiday gift!! There is also a game made specifically for boys coming out. I can't wait to see what is on and in it!!! It even had Nathan sitting still! Don't believe me? I have proof!!

Let Them Eat Cake!!!
Sunday, August 19, 2007
While in the laundry room folding clothes the other day, Nathan came to me and said, " Mommy, I make you cake." Now isn't that just the sweetest thing? I replied, "Yummy, Mommy will be in there and I want a piece of your delicious cake, k. What kind did you make for Mommy?" "A butter cake, Mommy." "Mommy just loves butter cakes, save me a piece." Dear Lord, what was I thinking? I mean, I'm dealing with forces that could help the Marines root out terrorists, because they act, think and behave like them. They'd be naturals at it!! Anyway, here is the cake Nathan made me. Can everybody say, AWWWWW?
Why yes, that is a whole cake mix poured into my carpet, globs of butter and ice. Need I tell anyone that 1) this was a beeyotch to clean up and 2) I did not spank him- (well, not that hard.)Labels: my kidz are terrorists, Nathan
Another Pic Post
Saturday, July 21, 2007
I know I call my kidz terrorists a lot. But they are not always way too active. I had to share the following picture of the two youngest when they are at the best behaved. I'd go so far as to share they are pure angels in this picture. I am not delusional though....I realize that yes, they are asleep and yes, they will wake up. But a mother can enjoy a "Non-Terrorist Zone" for as long as it lasts. God help us all!!

You Know Summertime Is Here When....
Tuesday, July 03, 2007

Your kidz are happily munching on watermelon, juice dripping down their faces, arms, onto their laps and the only thing they want is another piece. So, you give it to them, while you run their bathwater, for the second bath of the night! Th
ey sure do enjoy eating it, eh? It was worth mopping up all the juice on the kitchen floor to see how much they enjoyed it.

Nathan hasn't had one accident at all today. Maybe this potty training stuff is kicking in. God, I hope so. I am so tired of changing diapers and Pull-Ups. Hey, I've done an HUGE amount cleaning up other people's butts. As referenced HERE. I'm sick of it, I tell ya. He is doing really well...oh Lord, I just bragged on him...that's surely means a poopy pair of big boy drawers in about 5 minutes. I've jinxed myself...forget what I said..mmmmkay?Labels: Nathan, Potty Training
Why I Must, Must, Have My Camera At All Times....
Thursday, June 07, 2007
Who in the world could resist the plea, "Mommy, take picture, pweeeeese???" Turn around and see this shot? I surely couldn't. This is the Natester and Sharky. Actually it's Nicklaus' but Nate-Nate begged for it so much that Nicklaus allowed him to "hold" it. Nicklaus is staying at Nanny and Poppa's for a few days so Nathan has been "holding" it since then.

I FOUND MY CAMERA!!!
Tuesday, June 05, 2007
Okay, so no, not the one the Papra-Nazi ( a.k.a. Osama-bin-Baby) took and hid, but one I found on Ebay. It's much better than the one I had anyway and when and if that one shows up then the two eldest boys I am raising ( that would be Joey and Nicklaus) have already asked if they can have it to take hunting this year. You know how they give product numbers to items like 400, 500, the next in the series would be 600's? Well I jumped up to the 700s and also ended up with slews of bonus items that I couldn't afford for the lost one anyway. So, get ready for some much clearer pictures of our home thats NUTZ!!! Plus, my sis-in-law in Ohio takes awesome pics of her kids and sends them printed out and everything. She uses her digital camera, poses the kidz and snaps away!! (I bought a Kodak again, which is what she has) They are awesome. I hope I'm able to do that and have more frequent "professional" looking portraits!! We'll see. As for now, my fight is over. I conceded. Sometimes you much choose your wars. This wasn't it. I write my posts, other than all my personal ones for a reason, to be able to buy me something once in a while as well....and that is just what I did, bought MOM something for a change. That and the coffee I'm getting shipped. But that is another story!!Labels: camera, Nathan, Osama-Bin-Baby, Papra-Nazi
I've ALMOST ran out of places to search...
Sunday, June 03, 2007
But, I will not admit defeat yet. I found a Mr. Clean Bathroom Cleaner thingy in the far nether region of my closet...so, I know my camera is here somewhere....I just have to pinpoint the exact location, I am really considering breaking out the metal detector, (bought with my PPP money) and doing a general sweep of the area. I've looked behind bookcases, and the like, I know I am just overlooking it somewhere. When the Natester hides something...it stays hid. But Momma wasn't born yesterday....I have a few tricks up my sleeve also!!Labels: camera, Nathan
That Boy Makes Me So Proud...
Saturday, May 19, 2007
I forgot to tell all of y'all about Nathan's, ummm...performance at the Staff-vs-Students Kickball Game. He began doing some sort of interpretive dance, it reminded on of Squidward on SpongeBob Square Pants. He had the attention of half the parents on the next set of bleachers. He twirled, he wiggled, he lifted his leg up. He was just a little dancin' fool. While all of the parents were watching him gyrate, he suddenly stopped, looked at his Daddy and proclaimed, "I just took a big dump...." This is surely one of those heartwarming occurrences that I, as a mother, will cherish lovingly for every day of my life....BWAHAHAHAHA

Hmmmm....
Thursday, May 10, 2007

Nathan decided the Slip-N-Slide wasn't quite slippin' and slidin' enough, so he figured more liquid may help it out. Lord help us. (**yes, those are stumps in the background. They have been here since we moved in. Hubby is going to take care of them "in a minute.")

I Am Going to Go Friggin' Nutz...
Thursday, May 03, 2007
Wait...I already am. Anyway....will this little behavior phase of Nathan's stop soon? Who in the hell knows. I've tried all popular and not so popular behavior modification techniques. (Yep...we spank here in the Nutz household, set the offender in the corner, hell, I had 3 corners filled yesterday) anyway. This is what I dealt with just today:- Went to the pantry, saw a brown powdery substance, investigated further, it was an open package of chocolate pudding the Natester had decided to spread it from one end to the other of my clean pantry. It was the only room in the house I could actually say was organized and clean.
- Went to the window boxes that Noni and I planted some petite Marigolds in, chose one, and plowed right through it. Dirt on floor, plants in total disarray. Alas, the plants did not make it. I, however, am not incarcerated so Nathan did.
- Went to the kidz bathroom, saw a huge amount of gelatinous blue gel and white paste. Deduced from the overall fresh minty smell that it was two tubes of toothpaste.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHH.....I quit...I quit....I quit....

He NEVER Stops
Sunday, April 29, 2007
Nathan is quite the handful, to put it mildy. He's ninety to nothing from sun up to sun down. But he comes by that honest, I guess. This is what I found tonight while putting some towels up. I swear that cat looked like those animals at the zoo, behind plexiglass. This boy is gonna be the death of me yet!

JUST ANOTHER TYPICAL DAY
Joey, Justin and I were on the front porch talking when Noni runs to the door yelling something...what was the major calamity?? Why Nathan had just told her, "I took out my snake and peed in the dryer." Sure enough, he'd done it. And people wonder why my house is messy...if am cleaning one room he's in another one performing acts of mass destruction.Labels: my kidz are crazy, Nathan
My, My...how they've grown....
Friday, April 13, 2007

I'm sorry ...when I took this pic all I could think of was Kentucky Fried Chicken...under da' lamp waiting just for me...BWAHAHAHAHAHA
Hubby also had the unmitigated gall to ask me to feed the damn things today. Then laughed when I said, "You want me, to go into an enclosed area with 10 birds?? Me?? Hellooooo???? I'll be damned." If you don't know how I feel about feathered creatures, click HERE. He then tells me, "Well, just tell Nathan to go in the pen, grab the pan and hand it to you. That's right folks, I sent my youngest child, he's three, into the pen so I could feed the chickens. I cowered like a puppy and my three year old handled it like a BIG DOG. Damn, that's sad.... Ya Ever Had One of Those Days??
Tuesday, March 27, 2007
When everything just turned to crap? I have them a lot....I am trying to get my house back in order, but had meetings at school, and all kinds of other crap to do. Today was the day, I have 3 kids clothes to put up....toys, books, the whole shebang...not to mention ALL of my stuff. I took everything that was mine, that means Christmas decorations, some kitchen stuff etc. EVERYTIME I tried to get started Nathan was into something else...once he opened one of those plastic tubs of peaches, there it went all over the floor, then a whole pitcher of tea, next a whole can of my diet Dr. Pepper. So, I am bone tired and haven't accomplished anything....and I babysit in Savannah tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. We could just live outta garbage bags...right?
