I wonder what the long term effects of this will be? This cannot keep happening. I remember a song we always sang in Sunday School, "red and yellow, black and white, THEY are precious in His sight...." Sometime, these days, it seems like His sight is the ONLY one that has our children in it. I know that is not true, but it just seems like sometimes, whether through violent crime, domestic troubles or even money problems the once precious gift of childhood is over far too soon.
