Staph Infections-Not Just For Hospitals Anymore!

Thursday, March 01, 2007

It used to be that one only worried about getting a staph infection in a hospital. Now times have changed. There is a new breed of staph infection that left the hospital arena and jumped out into the general public. In case you're wondering, staph infections are nasty little buggers.

Pretty nasty, huh? The main strain of staph infection out here hitting the public is called MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus).
